# VS Code

> Connect CaptureFlow to GitHub Copilot in VS Code.

Add CaptureFlow to `.vscode/mcp.json` in your project (or run **MCP: Add Server** from the command palette and choose HTTP):

```json theme={null}
{
  "servers": {
    "captureflow": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.captureflow.ai/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

Start the server from the file or the MCP view; VS Code opens CaptureFlow's sign-in. Choose the workspace and what VS Code may do.

Copilot's agent mode can run terminal commands, so it can use the [file upload](https://docs.captureflow.ai/guides/uploads.md) tools.
