# Other apps

> Codex, Grok, Le Chat and any MCP client.

Any MCP client that supports remote servers (streamable HTTP) can connect:

```text theme={null}
https://mcp.captureflow.ai/mcp
```

* **Apps that support MCP sign-in (OAuth)** open CaptureFlow's sign-in; nothing else to configure. CaptureFlow accepts both client ID metadata documents and dynamic registration.
* **Apps that can't sign in** (some AI platforms only send a fixed header) use an API key from **Settings > API & MCP**:

  ```http theme={null}
  Authorization: Bearer cf_live_...
  ```

  Use a key limited to one workspace, with only the permissions needed and an expiry date: it is stored in the app's settings.

For read-only access, use `https://mcp.captureflow.ai/mcp/readonly`.

## Your own code

Calling CaptureFlow from your own program is usually simpler over the [REST API](https://docs.captureflow.ai/quickstart.md): the same operations, with plain HTTP. To build an app other CaptureFlow users connect, see [OAuth for app builders](https://docs.captureflow.ai/guides/oauth.md).
