# Claude Code

> Connect CaptureFlow to Claude Code.

**1. Add the server**

```bash theme={null}
claude mcp add --transport http captureflow https://mcp.captureflow.ai/mcp
```

**2. Sign in**

In Claude Code, run `/mcp`, choose **captureflow** and sign in to CaptureFlow in the browser. Choose the workspace and what Claude Code may do.

If Claude Code later needs a permission you didn't grant, connect again (`/mcp`) and approve it.

Claude Code can run shell commands, so it can use the [file upload](https://docs.captureflow.ai/guides/uploads.md) tools: it PUTs the file to the upload URL with `curl`.

> [!TIP]
>
> For scripts and CI, an API key works too: `claude mcp add --transport http captureflow https://mcp.captureflow.ai/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer $CAPTUREFLOW_API_KEY"`.
