# ChatGPT

> Connect CaptureFlow to ChatGPT.

**1. Turn on developer mode**

In ChatGPT's settings, turn on **developer mode** (under the apps settings, in the advanced settings). On Business and Enterprise plans an admin may need to allow it first.

**2. Add CaptureFlow**

Create an app (custom MCP server) with the URL:

```text theme={null}
https://mcp.captureflow.ai/mcp
```

and OAuth as the authentication. For read-only access use `https://mcp.captureflow.ai/mcp/readonly`.

**3. Sign in to CaptureFlow**

ChatGPT opens CaptureFlow's sign-in. Choose the workspace and what ChatGPT may do, then approve.

If a tool needs a permission you didn't grant, ChatGPT asks you to reconnect with it.

> [!NOTE]
>
> ChatGPT can't send a file over HTTP, so the upload tools are hidden there. Upload files in CaptureFlow instead.
